How It Works
Example: Modbus / OPC UA Server Gateway
Connect Your Machine
Create a new Modbus slave by configuring the connection to your machine using the integrated web interface or our intuitive VS Code plugin. The Modbus slave is automatically scanned and mapped into the internal data model.
Configure the Translation Module
Select 'OPC UA Server' as the communication module. Define which data models from the data layer should be exposed through the OPC UA server.
Operation
The gateway operates cyclically and state-based, similar to a traditional PLC. Cycle times of up to 20 ms are easily achievable on standard IT hardware, making even demanding real-time applications possible.
