Run a compact filling machine without a classic PLC
Situation
A compact filling or capping machine handles small containers in discrete cycles: feed, fill, cap, transfer. Sensors and pneumatics carry out the individual steps. The control logic is to be built as software on an industrial PC rather than as a PLC project.

retavi connects the machine's sensors, drives and actuators to an industrial PC. The customer-specific sequence control for feeding, positioning, filling and capping is built with the C# Module SDK as a dedicated module on the retavi//Framework.
