Software-first: Retrofit Despite Legacy Hardware
At Retrofit Innovation Day, Dr.-Ing. David Breunig showed how a software-driven approach makes retrofit universal, flexible, and economical - with the retavi software framework as the foundation. Topics included open architecture and modular software components, protocol and data bridges in brownfield environments, and retrofit machine learning for anomaly detection and quality assurance directly in existing systems.
