How It Works
Connect IO-Link Master
Configure the connection to one or more IO-Link masters using the integrated web interface or the intuitive retavi VS Code plugin. You only need to specify the IP address and select the manufacturer.
Connect Any IO-Link Devices
Connected IO-Link devices are read in automatically and made visible in the internal data model. Simply provide the appropriate IODD file for correct conversion of the raw process data.
Use Process Data
Provide current process values through the communication module of your choice for your applications, or store them directly via one of the many available database adapters.
Operation
The Smart IO-Link Connector works cyclically and state-based, similar to a traditional PLC. Cycle times of up to 20 ms are easily achievable on standard IT hardware. You can integrate the IO-Link devices into your existing PLC logic or implement your own control logic with the retavi//Framework.
